Artistic Director
Danny Driver

Danny Driver first attracted public attention in Britain by winning both the Royal Over-Seas League Competition Keyboard Award and the title of BBC Radio 2 Young Musician of the Year in 2001, adding a successful debut at the London’s Wigmore Hall shortly thereafter. He has performed with orchestras such as the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra, American Symphony Orchestra, and Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, also giving regular acclaimed recitals at venues including the South Bank Centre and Wigmore Hall in London and Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

A Hyperion recording artist, Danny’s CD of York Bowen’s Piano Concertos with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra under Martyn Brabbins was released in 2008 to a chorus of international acclaim, followed by the York Bowen Piano Sonatas in 2009, which was ‘Editor’s Choice’ in Gramophone Magazine.
